🍽️ Taste Serbia at Serbian Days
Food is at the heart of every Serbian celebration, and Serbian Days will be no exception.
Our community will be preparing a selection of traditional dishes throughout the weekend, with more details to be announced as the event approaches.
🐖 Featured Dish
Roast Pig (Prase na ražnju)
A Serbian festival favourite, our whole pig will be slow-roasted in traditional Balkan style — crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Served fresh throughout the day while supplies last.
Cabbage Rolls (Sarma)
Sarma, one of the most beloved traditional Serbian dishes, will be served at Serbian Days Winnipeg. Sarma is made with cabbage leaves carefully rolled around a savoury filling, usually including seasoned meat and rice, then slow-cooked until rich, tender, and full of flavour. For many Serbian families, sarma is more than just food — it is a dish connected to holidays, family gatherings, and home.
Ćevapčići
Ćevapčići are small, grilled sausages made from seasoned meat and are one of the most popular dishes across Serbia and the Balkans. They are often served with fresh bread, chopped onions, and traditional sides, making them a simple but unforgettable part of Serbian cuisine.
